Improvement on MyLot!

I came to MyLot and about 2:45 PM just now and had several notifications. I dove into them and was able to respond to fully five comments on my own and others' posts!
The dreaded error message did not hit until my sixth attempt, but I was able to get through with only one refresh! I was able to respond, and was in pretty high spirits.
Only when I tried to respond to the seventh notification was I unable to get through at all. I gave up after five refreshes.
But look! I was able to find a "back door" after hitting the "back" key a couple of times, and was able to write this post! So things are improving.
Perhaps by tomorrow I'll be able to respond to ten straight notifications before I am not allowed to respond to any more.

Thanks for the tip about hitting the "back" key. I've just been hitting the refresh button a million times. It gets frustrating but I guess if you're determined you'll have the patience to keep trying until you succeed, right? It took me quite a few attempts to get back onto this discussion, by the way. Kind of ironic!

It was bad for me for a while, where I'd have to try 6 or 7 times before I could get through to comment on a post or respond to a notification. But it seems to have gotten better lately. I only get the error message occasionally now, and at random times. But like you found out, I can usually hit the back button and try again and it usually takes care of the problem.

@TheHorse I agree. Sometimes you can find ways to work around it, and sometimes you just have to say "F-it" and call it a day.

@TheHorse basically when there are huge numbers of users, the servers get overloaded...
