Update on my Burned 90 Year Old Cousin

Sharing a sunshine marigold flower with you, it brightens my day! I call the yellow and orange blooms sunshine flowers. Last week I wrote about my 90 year old 2nd cousin that was burned over 80% of his body, after his tractor exploded. They removed the ventilator a couple of days ago and are monitoring his progress. Been following his progress with his daughter. She and her sister were finally able to visit him for the first time last night. Due to COVID, there have been no visitors. The doctor said it would be beneficial to his healing process to see his family. They were both so relieved to see him. He doesn't know he was burned. Due to the 3rd and 4th degree burns, most of the nerves in his legs and feet were damaged. They are hoping some of the feeling returns. Taking this a day at a time. Still keeping him sedated most of the time. However when he is awake he talks to the nurses and is trying to understand where he is and why. Most of the burns were to his legs and feet.
