Yay! Our Car Passed

The TÜV, the German car examination. We are happy about that. Everything is fine and it is safe for us to drive it. Well, I don't drive but my hubby. The next TÜV will be in June 2022 again.
If our car can talk, it would have a lot of stories to tell, especially in our time living in Ireland. It has made a lot of adventures with us on the roads in Germany, The Netherlands, England, Wales and the Republic of Ireland.
Do you have a kind of car examination for the safety of driving your car in your country? What is the name of the exam?
Anyway, we are done now and tired as we have to wait for our turn for an hour. Thank you and have a nice day or evening to you there.

We no longer have inspections in South Carolina. The way it is now, the owner of the car has to make sure everything is working themselves. If the law stops you because something is not working, the officer might just give you a warning to have it fixed or you could have to pay a fine.

Yes we have mandatory car inspection and emissions test it must past. I have to do my car every year.

We have emissions tests and they are done when the tags on the car need to be renewed once a year. I don't have a car, but I have to hear my grandma complain about it every year haha

Only smoke emission testing done by the LTO or land transportation office.

Glad to hear about it pass as well and ok. I think here it's not compulsory checking but if customer want then only. For bike its 14 years of license and if it passed then need to check that is it ok after it.

good for you. the blue car here still has no registry stamp or sticker. it is already registered but the agncy has not yet given us the sticker.

The cars in Ireland get tested very year too. We had to get our motor-home checked when we were there.

We get an "e-check" to make sure the car's emissions are within limits.
