I have retired 3 years ago and just whiling away my time in doing what I like. No business for me because I am not business-minded.

Yes, my husband and I own our business and have so for the past 11 years.
We're planning on having it take us right into retirement. Actually I don't know that we will ever really retire but we do plan to slow down.

My retirement job is going to be living off of social security and my government pension and living the good life. And by good life, I don't mean wealthy life. I mean I'll be out traveling, hiking, camping and all kinds of other fun stuff I've been planning for the last couple of years.

@andriaperry I'm kind of in the early stages of my retirement planning, where I'm just listing out things I want to do, fun stuff I want to accomplish, and places I want to travel to. So right now it's all just a wish list. Then I'll fine-tune it and make it into a bucket list. And then finally I'll start mapping out the plan for how I'm going to do all that stuff. But believe it or not, I still have years before I will be retiring, so I have plenty of time to work on my strategy.

@andriaperry Gab is a social media site that claims it is open for any writer to express their opinions without the fear of bring censored since the writers can make donations to keep the site open.

Well I am kind of doing it, but we will see how much cash is available. I would love to do more traveling as that is what I love.

It does not work that way. My husband received a very small pension in Latvia and it was hard to get by. He was always hoping to find some kind of job that would pay well but was never successful.

@andriaperry I travel occasionally, I visit people, I read, I write, for example on myLot. I need more time for the things I do. One becomes slower with age.
