She would have been 76 today...

The photo I found (above) was one that was taken on her last birthday (June 18, 2017).
Mom passed in November of 2017.
She had cancer in her lungs that maybe five years before had been in her kidney, and evidently even after they removed her kidney the cancer was still floating around in there.
I'm glad that she had some good days that year--like this one.
Miss you, Mommy.

I lost my mom in 1996 at 84 years of age. Wonderful photo of your mom. You know our moms are watching over us and always close by. Virtual hugs.

I hope that my Mom made it right with the Lord before she passed. I want to see her in Heaven.

I count myself blessed that I had my mom for a "long time" (she was 75 when she passed). I have a friend who lost her dad when she was 12 and her mom at 16, so she never had the blessings of an adult friendship relationship with her mom.
There's a mom-shaped hole in our lives that'll never be filled. Thankfully, the wonderful memories smooth the raw edges. But I'm like you: I think of my mother every day, and I frequently dream about her.

That is so sad about the cancer and she was not old either. That must be very hard for you when her birthday rolls around. I am so so sorry for your loss.
