Last night my wife related that they are raising funds for her office mate who has stage 4 colorectal cancer. She is not even 30 years old. I don't know her but that thought bothered me. Before I slept, I handed my wife $20 as my donation. That act seemed to have relieved me of the sad thoughts.

@Alexandoy Stage 4 means that the cancer has spread to vital organs, this is horrible, she is so young.

That is very generous of you to do that. I guess she will need a lot of help since having that kind of disease will definitely need a lot of financial help because the medicine is just too expensive despite there’s no guarantee that it will help you get better at all. My mom fought fiercely against it and gave her a decade more but it got to the point that she had to give up because of her body not able to cope anymore. It is indeed sad that such a young blood got it very early in life.
