In Genting Highlands in Malaysia, there are brilliant mechanical rollers. These rollers trim the grasses and also can take away dirt. They are taken from cemented surfaces to the golf courses and then the entire area is cleaned up and given a beautiful shape. There are paid employees who do the work.

Yeah, everybody likes trimmed greenery be it a resort or backyard and I believe the mechanical rollers might be like this above pic.
