The complex's family pool will open on Monday. And to be honest I'm really glad. It has been nice to take the kids to the splash pad, but it'll be nice to have the option of going to the pool.
I mentioned it to my kids, and my middle daughter had such a huge smile when I mentioned it to her. She's always loved being in the water. All my kids enjoy swimming, but I think it's a bit different with my middle daughter. She could spend her life there. She's my fish.

Both my kids loved the water, while they were growing up. Now, my daughter has a pool in their yard.

I was hoping to find a small pool to set up in our yard. There are none to be found. Even if we did find one I know our landlord would complain about it. At this point in the game I wouldn't care if she did.

@dodo19 I was all set to head out in the morning. But, became sick during the night and still have some sort of intestinal thing this morning. Not happy.
My sister said she would go out to see if she could get me one.

Yay, I bet the kids will enjoy that pool for sure..especially the middle one. I was a bit like the middle one when I was young..any swimming venture would bring a smile to my face.

@dodo19 Yes, most kids love the water and have no fear. Once my sister and I took our kids to the pool at my apartment. My niece was only around 2-3 years old. When we got to the pool deck, she suddenly took off running and jumped right in but couldn't swim. My sister jumped in and retrieved her right away. It scared us both so bad. My niece was laughing as she thought it was so much fun.

@dodo19 aww I'm so happy for you all! I love water too. I love the pool, love baths and showers. I love the ocean too but I don't like to swim far out cause it scares me.
I hope you all have a wonderful time at the pool.

I'm definitely glad that it's opened and we have it. I've always loved the water too. Especially being by the ocean. I don't swim often, but I still love the water. Showers are so relaxing. We'll definitely have quite a bit of fun by the pool.

@VivaLaDani13 I know what you mean. Showers can help so much with that.

@dodo19 Oh showers are so so relaxing! If ever I have trouble sleeping, I have a quick hot shower to try and relax my body and mind.

Maybe I should set up my little kiddie pool again so that I can at least soak my feet.

Growing up I was a fish to! I loved the water and the pool etc. I was even on the swim team when I was in school! Right now the community pool is open but you have to go through signing up and only a little time there and just way to many hoops to jump through. my kids want to go to our splash pad they built last year and they had a ball but unfortunately it is still closed and no idea when they will consider reopening

You must have really enjoyed swimming and been a good swimmer. It's a shame that there are restrictions now all over the place. But it's understandable. Hopefully, soon there won't be as restrictions. I'm sorry that the splash pad isn't open for you guys. It's opened here, and my kids were really happy that it was.

@dodo19 My youngest daughter is the most dissappointed, she wanted her bday party at the splash pad last year but it took longer to finish than expected and so it was after her bday when they could use it. her bday is next monday on the 29th and with them still not being on there is no way it will be open in time yet again and she has looked forward to it all year and then the virus hit. i mean i get it and understand just wish other people would listen so we can get this over with and back to normal for the kids and adults alike.
