Visiting a Castle

Do you usually use your navigation gadget for your car when traveling? Do you always follow what the woman speaker tells you where to go, straight, left or right on the road?
Our navigation gadget is old. We didn't buy a new one as I can use my iPhone. But this time I didn't use my phone because I was afraid that the battery would be empty and I could no longer use it for taking photos and videos. So off we went to Moyland Castle navigating with our old navi.
The Castle is about 30 kilometers from where we live. Not so far but because of our old navi it took an hour for us to reach the Castle. We should have taken the Autobahn or the highway in going there instead of Bundestrasse or national road.
Anyway, we had a nice afternoon strolling the garden of the Castle. We didn't go inside the museum of the Castle because of the waiting line. Maybe next time, we can see the paintings of the artist Joseph Beuys.
I took a lot of videos and photos at the flower garden and the herbal garden. I thought the Castle and its garden is a huge one to stroll around but it was not.
How was your Sunday? Have you been out somewhere?
Thanks for reading and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
UPDATE:
By the way, the Schloss Moyland or Moyland Castle was built in the middle of 14th century. The name Moyland derived from the dutch word Moy which is beautiful and the word land which means country. It is the neo-Gothic building in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is a "moated castle" in Bedburg-Hau in the district of Kleve.

That's a beautiful castle. We have a GPS but never installed it. No plans here.

You got a nice Sunday trip to Moyland castle. Ours is spent to a family outing to the mountain spring resort at the outskirt of our small city to celebrate Father's Day.

Yes, I have read your outing. I would prefer to go to the beach resort than go to the castle but we don´t have a beach nearby. Thanks @Nakitakona

I will only use the navigation app on my phone when I am not sure where I am going. I will follow all instructions which has found us in some interesting places on occassion. Once to a wooded lot where a government building was supposed to be.

that is so cool -
My car has airplay that let's me project my iPhone on the screen. Since I can charge my phone in the car, it works out perfectly!

Yes, I always use a navigation device if I go to a part I don’t know or if I’ve never been there. I rely on it and so far it hasn’t let me down, maybe because I update it regularly. I spent the weekend in the mountains and also took a lot of photos and videos for my YouTube channel. I have already started looking for another destination. I like this castle a lot

Its a beautiful caste and Yes use that nevigation system because don't know the root of destination. With it we can reach fast and know how far we are. If not that system then Ned to go by asking people. Sunday is so good and now its Monday so back on work.
