This is the story of a lady named Susan who is 45 years old , single and living alone. At the start of the story Susan's mother has just died and Susan has just found out that she is pregnant. From there we find out about Susan's relationships with a part time boyfriend/lover, her neighbour, workmates and most of all we find out about Susan's dark family secrets.
It turns out that her brother Edward has been left a life interest in her mother's house, which means that he can live there as long as he likes and Susan can only get her half of the inheritance once he moves out and the house is sold. She feels this was unfair of her mother to have made the will in favour of her brother. She also knows from past experience that her brother could be dodgy and manipulative . So she takes legal action to contest the will and finds a massive family secret along the way.

I think I have heard of the author before. This sounds like a very good book and yes, Susan it is unfair what your mother did to you.

@lazydaizee If I ever came across it, I would surely give it a read.
I am considering joining a library to do more reading.

@VivaLaDani13 It is a good idea to join a local library. I am a member of ours but it is only a small library and I think I have already read most of their books.

I hope the story will end up good. That she can get her fair share of the inheritance because she`ll be needing it as soon as she gets the baby out of her womb
