We do that when we were teenagers, my brothers and I. We had no electric fan so we just sleep on the carton spread on the floor.

@Adie04 especially the floor in the basement, if you have one in your home. The floor is cold.

I used to love sleeping on the floor, but now it really bothers my back and hips. I think I got spoiled sleeping in my hammock....

Plus, if you sleep on the floor, some says that it can help straighten your back bones(?). Either straight or ease back pain.

I think you will get refreshed when you drink some cold water,sleeping on the floor is no issue if you put a mat on it..Stay Cool.
