Loki- Friend or Foe? / myLot

Hello all, today I got a message. A message from a man I came to know as Loki (no not his real name). My friends a few that know him have told me unsavoury things. Even Bones told me "NO don't talk to him." that's why I stopped talking to him 2 years ago... The last interaction I had with him scrolling through my messages was him telling me to have fun getting my heart broken by Bones... What a charmer... I wonder why after 2 years he messaged me all of a sudden... Maybe because I am single... Maybe because he wants to be friends... Weird co-incidence because he popped into my head last night.

I think that I would want to be very careful about getting involved at any level with someone who styles himself after the Norse god who was definitely not to be trusted. It was Loki who made and shot the arrow made out of mistletoe which killed Baldur. He was a shape-shifter and was inherently mischievous, at least, if not malicious.

@Fa_Maverick I know, I know. You tell yourself that you are being careful (and, of course, will continue to be) but is all that carefulness worth it in the end to satisfy what is probably just a curiosity about the guy's make-up or intentions? You'd save yourself a lot of unnecessary energy spent in 'being careful' if you simply cut him off (as you've been advised by others who, presumably, know him better than you do).

This is just a principle of mine but I make sure not to judge a person based on other people’s opinion about that person.

If three people are telling you that someone is bad news and get caught up with that person and they turn out to be bad news your friends will be like "I told you so"
