Groceries and Trash

Good Morning! Grocery shopping done and supper already planned. I'm making hamburger steak with mushroom gravy for dinner. I am not sure what I am going to make with it, but I have several options. Wherein I outline what I plan to do with my bedroom. Yesterday I was lying on my bed and messaging with friends when an idea came into my head of what the finished product of my room should look like. I had an idea already, but it didn't really account for my dressers.Well, the new plan accounts for that. It also accounts for plentiful yarn space I will go through and donate the majority of my clothes, leaving about fifteen outfits in total and a few winter type pajamas. Most items will be hung up but what isn't will go into the plastic dresser. The plastic dresser will also hold whatever overflow of blankets I have (I am a self confessed blanket hoarder) The wooden dresser will hold yarn, other craft supplies, and overflow of blankets. The most recent bookshelf I bought will turn into a knick nack shelf, and possibly storage for decorations. That leaves the 10 shelf bookcase as book storage. There is also room on top for other things, but I plan for that to house the dolls my mother has, including Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Today's Plans Mylot Notifications Writing Working on clothes donation Removing tools to porch Making Dinner Basically I want to get to where the very last thing I need to do is deal with the entertainment center. I want to have moved everything off of it that I want to keep, leaving everything else for trash. That won't happen today, but I want it to happen this week.

Maybe not the process, but I'll enjoy the reward.

Planning is key and it is good to have an idea of how you will deal with things before you start moving them.

I agree.Which reminds me, I need to measure the bookcase.I am sure it will fit, but I am not sure how close it will get to one of the outlets.

It helps to have a plan. Good luck. That's a lot of hard work.

@ScribbledAdNauseum You are lucky, the Goodwill's in my area doesn't pick up any donations, you have to take them there yourself.

I had to realize today that some of the stuff is just going to have to be done in stages. I need to call my local goodwill and see how / if they are doing donations and whether any of the donation trucks are open.

Am sure it will be a well spent day. Where do you usually bring the donated clothes?

Yes and no. The hardest part will be getting rid of clothes because I know I'll tell myself "Oh I forgot about this!". I do have to move my bed to deal with the big bookcase, so I need to focus on the clothes first.
