Pre Ordained was the first album released by the band Queen. It came out in 1973 and was a combination of heavy metal and progressive rock. On this first album, Freddie Mercury wrote five of the songs and lead guitarist Brian May four songs. The drummer Roger Taylor wrote and sang “Modern Times Rock and Roll”. This made everyone aware of how talented this band was and that they were worth listening to.

This was Queen's first released single which did not get much radio play and only charted at #89. I remember Bohemian Rhapsody the first song I ever heard from Queen.

Yeah! "Keep Yourself Alive"!! I wish they'd play that more than the same old three Queen songs they always play.

I saw the movie--and I am going to watch the Adam Lambert joins Queen documentary--that was/is enough!! I am more of a Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Johnny Mathis sort of guy.
