Thanks to a police officer who was in the area near the Pinewood Apartments Complex in New Haven Michigan on patrol on Thursday morning, he called 911 to report a fire and to send help as soon as possible. The police officer went to the scene of the fire where he was able to rescue a dad and three of his children out of the building that was filled with smoke safely. When the New Haven firefighters arrived at the scene of the fire, they were able to rescue a mother and her two children to safety. The two children and the police officer were taken to a local hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation. They are all expected to recover from the fire incident that started in one of the houses inside the apartments when the stove was on which flooded the building with smoke. Thank goodness that all parties that were affected by the smoke in the apartment complex will be okay.

That is the most important thing people get saved and the building remains standing.
