Friday, Birthdays and Stuff

Happy Friday Everyone! I'm loving the sunny weather we've been having. I woke up to another beautiful day.
This week has been a birthday week in our family.
On Tuesday it was my son in laws birthday.
Yesterday it was my Aunts 88 birthday (she's in Florida)
And today is my youngest granddaughters 11th birthday. She's going to be going to their local park/lake with a few friends and they'll have a picnic and swim. It's not going to be a big celebration but I'm happy that she'll be able to do something fun and enjoy her birthday.
Hopefully before the summer ends the whole family (all 14 of us) can get together and have a party and celebrate all the things we've missed from being in quarantine all these months.
But for me, today is another quiet day.
My daughter went to work so it's just me and the pups.
I'm having my coffee and they're snoring

Good morning. 
I have to say that your family seems to have learned to turn the hands of time back as a result of this pandemic. Celebrating with a picnic and a swim are things that we would have done as kids, and there is nothing wrong with that, in fact its much more memorable then having a party out somewhere. I hope that she has a very happy birthday.

We're a simple family and most everyone loves to be outside. I'm sure she had a wonderful time and I'm going to call her after dinner and chat

You certainly have lots of birthdays this month! Your granddaughter is one year behind my granddaughter and one year ahead of my grandson. Too bad we couldn't get them all together for a play date!
My day has been crazy from the second I woke up. I'm just looking forward to my Friday date night martini at this point and it's not even 11:00AM!

It is supposed to be pretty hot here this weekend, so nothing other than swimming, but today I am going to meet friend who has some cutting tools for me to use. I will cut some greenery whenever it is cool enough to do so.
