So, I have been intrigued by this since I saw it a few weeks ago. Dragonfruit is not very common in the US, I think it is more something that Indonesians, Fillipinos etc. would have. I know I never had it before. Anyway, it was good, I think the dragonfruit was mixed with coconut water and it was only 90 calories or less, so I thought it was worth it. Sis said dragonfruit is very healthy. Most fruit of that type is I think. Have you had dragonfruit?

I've had dragonfruit in Hong Kong gratis of the hotel. I loved it! On the days they didn't serve it, we called room service.

Now I know that I will buy a dragonfruit next time I see it. I have not tried it yet. I want to make ice cream out of it or maybe a smoothie.

I am curious about that drink! I've had fresh dragonfruit - it's kinda kiwi-ish but less sweet. I've also had dried dragonfruit.

Yes, they had a few chunks of the fruit in the drink I was thinking kiwi too, that is what it reminded me of.

@much2say Yeah, but I wasn't sure if it was because it was in the drink or if that was the real taste.

@just4him Like our fruit, they say the canned stuff isn't as good as the fresh. I saw a host on TV put some of it in with taco meat. I am going to try that sometime.

I don't think I've ever had it. I'd be happy to try it. Another fruit that isn't common here is lychees. We could get them at the Chinese with ice-cream. They were delicious.

I tasted that in Philippines and hongkong as well. Tasty and healthy indeed. You can make a pure shake from that without adding any sweeteners.
