How MyLot helped me make an extra $25.65 today alone!

Today, I had several errands to run. I had to get some new electronic cleaner for my work on old stereo receivers. I had to get groceries, as my freezer was bare. And I had to stop at the bank and transfer some monies from one account to another.
My first priority was electronic contact cleaner. Best Buy (a block away) didn't pick up the phone, Ace Hardware (a mile away) was out of contact cleaner, and Home Depot (three miles away) had it.
As I was heading toward the self-check-out at Home Depot, I spied some rubber work gloves that looked very close to what I use as batting gloves for softball. The price on the shelf was about $10. The cost of batting gloves is something like $29.99 these days, and they last only about two years. I grabbed the work gloves and tried them on. They felt just like the over-priced batting gloves I've been using for years.
At the self-check out, the cost of generic De-Oxit was $7.99, less than I had expected The cost of the work/batting gloves was $4.99, less than it had said on the shelf.
So I saved $25 dollars by buying rubber work gloves instead of over-priced batting gloves. Add that to the $0000.6500 I'll make on MyLot today, and the total comes to $25.65. I am destined to be rich!
Have you encountered bargains recently?

In my area we have big supermarkets but also metro versions which are smaller and often in city centres.
Don't know if you have the same over there but I expect you do.
Like a mini walmart next to a train station or in a small location as opposed to a big out of town store.
My work is directly opposite to 2 metro versions of big supermarkets...I get so many bargains there as I watch the reduced section many times per day due to being in and out all the time.

@TheHorse we have big chains here too such as tesco asda and sainsburys.
Asda is part of walmart I believe and they don't have metro shops as far as I know.
Tesco is like your walmart it is massive in the UK and they have giant stores in most towns.
We have a big one here but also we have the metro versions which are tiny shops in strategic locations.

@Mike197602 i'll try and illustrate through a couple of pics but you discussion was on bargains.
I always go to the reduced section with stuff approaching sell by/use by/best before.
They get yellow tickets added throughout the day reducing the price.
Often from as much as 7 pound to 70p...7 dollars to 70 cents
Anyway...I'll show you a big store and a metro store.

I recently got whole coffee beans. The price on the shelf said $8.99. There was no sale sticker on the shelf but when it was scanned at the register they took off $4, so the coffee only cost me $4.99.

No bargains for me. Not really looking to spend but rather make more money. I'd buy something on a bargain bin if I can flip it for a profit.
Those are good deals that you got though.

what's a bargain?
sorry couldn't help it. I have been waiting for our local store to drop the prices on a bit of computer hardware - they did on Saturday.
I got a new SSD drive (1 terabyte) for less than what the original 500 gig cost me two years ago.

You’d better start picking out a color for your Porsche! You’re getting close!!
I made $20.13 over the weekend with myLot, thanks to my less-than-stellar but still adequate putting.
