Cleaning the floor

If there's one thing I dislike more than anything in housekeeping, I think it's cleaning the floor. I have an LDK (living dining kitchen) room where I do most of my "living" and since part of it is the kitchen it can get pretty dirty. Now that I have summer holidays, it is time to do a deep cleaning of that floor. I'm washing the throw rugs in the washing machine and I am waiting for a section to dry before starting on the next section (have to move furniture around). Mind you, one thing that makes me really happy is having a clean floor. So I guess it all balances out. What is your least enjoyable part of housekeeping?

I just mopped the floor of our DLK, waheehee. I am using my laptop on the dining table and I noticed there are litter (from the feeding of the dog) so I mopped it. Now it is clean and bright.

Good for you. You can visit me if you like. Especially if your reaction to seeing litter is to mop the floor!

@Alexandoy My reaction to seeing things on my floor is to hope they evaporate. They don't.

If I'm at dormitory, if I clean and throw things, there's more space. I am satisfied with that.
