Savoury or sweet Fruit or meat A pie is a treat. I like all types of pies Steak Pie, Macaroni and Cheese Pie, Haggis Pie, Scotch Pie, Apple Pie, Lemon Meringue Pie, Rhubarb Pie And a few more. Quiche too lol. Actually pies and pastries are the enemy, but I eat my enemies. Are pies your friends or foes? Which pies float your boat? When last a pie had you?

This made me miss the coconut pie that we buy on our way to the province down south. It has fresh young coconut that is delicious to the bite.

@JimBo452020 more likely you do not have that there because coconut is a tropical fruit.

@JimBo452020 Haha - you were sprung. Did you gulp it down? Or give her the last of it? I sometimes wait till Vince goes to chop wood then snitch something out of the fridge that I shouldn't.

Never had a mac and cheese pie, or Haggis (obviously) However, a Scotch pie sounds interesting. What does it consist of?

@JimBo452020 Savoury. You cook chard, add salt, pepper and cream and put it over the cooked quiche dough. Put cheese on top.

Apple Pie is great but has to be home made. Store bought Pies are always so bland here and full of tasteless additives and the Pastry is seldom baked right and they never have enough filling.

Indeed Cottage Pie counts as done any pie or pastry with a steak filling. Pumpkin pie, never tried it, had the chance but politely refused
