Gladiolus blossomed and brought new colors to my garden.

Picture from my garden made this morning June 30.

My garden is mostly green. .The tomato has just started to turn red. This first gladiolus brought changes in the colors of my garden. .We set up a large plastic pool and filled it with water for our girls to bathe and swim. These are the sisters of my two daughters. They are 10 and 9 years old. Their names are Sara and Dunja. We greet you all, wish you a good day and beware of the virus .He is not harmless. COVID-19 has already killed half a million people in the world. Think about it and your protection. Best regards.

Your gladiolus is very pretty. I'm sure Sara and Dunja will have a lot of fun in the pool. How hot does it get there in summer?

Hi Judy Sara and Dunja are enjoying themselves. July and August are the warmest months in our country. The upper extremities are 38-49 Celsius, depending on the place. The temperature is lower in the north, and the warmest in the south of the country.

@111Cankovic Thankfully we never to 49C although in the very north of the state they might sometimes. We might get to 43 or 44c but just for an odd day here and there during summer (December-February).

I got a dozen bulbs from my neighbor after that I plant them every spring because they are beautiful. I take the bulbs out of the ground every fall, wrap them in newspapers and bring them into the house. That's how I protect them from frost. Plant gladiolus them next year, flowers will give you back their beauty.

Thank you Marlina. Yes, Canada is geographically north of Serbia, so that is normal. But August will come soon.
