We have hot weather too and a threat of rain more than actual rain. We had rain yesterday but it was more a sprinkle than anything and didn't amount to much. Today it looks a bit threatening but it's anyones guess if we'll actually get rain.

We have rain today but it was not cold. We have 18°C but very humid.

Not exactly. No rain but it's expected to rain from Sunday to maybe Friday

I waited and hoped all day yesterday. It started as thunder, lightning and light rain at about 6:30.

The weather here is hot. I am glad I am getting away for a few days.

Here in Santa Fe, it's always dry unless there's a thunderstorm or actual monsoon. Those can be quite dramatic here! I don't have a/c downstairs in my apartment, but I got a couple of those little Zen Coolers -- they are like small swamp coolers. I have one pointing at the daybed and one pointing at the couch, the two places I'm usually hanging out down here. It's surprising how effective they are as long as you put them in the right strategic locations, lol. I set up a fan at one end of the room to circulate the air and don't really miss the a/c. That said, it doesn't get as hot in Santa Fe as it did Paradise. It does feel hot at a lower temperature though because of the altitude. We're at 7100 feet. That sun can feel pretty dang intense up here.I do appreciate the low humidity though, I can't handle high humidity. I hope your air conditioner keeps running. Ours went out and needed full replacement the last summer we were in Paradise. We bought one of those small "portable" ones and it really did not do the trick. It was miserable. So hope your unit keeps on going! And I hope you get some good rain. I hate the heat myself. I'd much rather be cold.

Same situation here as we also need rain as very hot. Our wait of rain is so long and don't know when it will end.
