No thunderstorms here last night, but I did have trouble sleeping. It was just one of those nights where I kept tossing and turning, just felt like I couldn't get comfortable no matter how hard I tried. So all day long today I was dragging my feet because I was so tired.

@CarolDM At about 5pm this afternoon, I could barely keep my eyes open. I kept nodding off. But I forced myself to power through it, because if I would have napped that late, I would never fall asleep tonight. So I'm hoping I will start drifting off soon, but unfortunately right now I feel pretty wide awake.

@CarolDM That's loud. When I was younger my parents found a campground with railroad tracks that ran through. The train came through at 3 AM horns blaring. We were about 300 yards from the tracks. I never heard a sound. Everyone was complaining about the train in the morning. Storms put me right to sleep. I wouldn't hear them no matter how much noise they made.

there is nothing worse than thunderstorms (except snow, Hot and Humid, and tornados) so they are in that pantheon of not so good weather. sorry - hopefully it was quiet the rest of the night!
