My Pineapple Cake is done!

I told you I would post a pic of the Pineapple Cake and here it is. Everyone except the SIL here loves this cake, I got the recipe from my german best friend in 1992 and have been making it ever so often since then. I am going to post the recipe, please let me know if this isn't allowed. Ingredients: 1 box Duncan Hines pineapple but you can use yellow cake mix ( I use the Pineapple it is so good ) 1 big box of instant vanilla pudding 1- 20 oz can of crushed pineapple I use dole, it doesn't have to much juice in it. 1- 8 oz container of cool whip...let thaw Prepare cake per instructions and divide batter equally into 2- 8 or 9 inch round cake pans. In the mean time drain pineapples and save the juice. Squeeze out all of the juice, then mix the pudding with the pineapple juice only till thickened, do not add any more liquid or it will get runny, then add the pineapples and mix a little more. Put the cool whip into the pudding and fold in with a spatula or wooden spoon till incorporated. Cover and put in fridge so it thickens some more. When toothpick comes out clean on the cakes take out and cool on cooling racks for about 10 min. and then take out of pan to cool completely. To assemble cut both cakes in half so you have 4 layers. Put frosting between layers and stack up then frost top and sides. This will have to be refrigerated because of the cool whip Picture is mine
