I'm sitting outside while our sprinkler is on

One picture looking like we're getting rain but it's pretty dry here with no rain in the forecast for almost two weeks if not longer and ninety degree temps for ten more days. I put the umbrella up earlier when my sister dropped by to figure out what we beads to use for a necklace she's making for my mother of the bride dress. I did a lot outside the house today with an appt, dropping off paperwork for an appt with the hands surgeon in to weeks. I picked up my taxes which were sent in and then we went out to Logan's to eat with my daughter that's getting married next month and her fiance asking work my hubs of course. I was hoping to fit in going to a show store in town to try on shoes for the wedding but they were closing soon after we were done eating. I also snuck a small but in and have one more to do before it gets hot tomorrow morning. And then it's back to work I go once more as a cashier. I may do a spot of weeding before I move the sprinkler to a new spot in the lawn.

Wait a second... the sprinkler was running, it is hot and you were sitting on your deck? I expected you to tell us you'd been running through the sprinkler spray, at least.

@MarshaMusselman But... but what about your sense of adventure, Marsha? Have you lost your sense of adventure? *grinning and teasing you*

@DaddyEvil what would the neighbors think? Not that I really care or I wouldn't weed my flower beds with my rear in the air. That mostly because I can't stop low enough yet and my chiropractor says I may not regain that ability.

I can handle the heat to some degree. Plus it was after supper probably about seven pm and while still hot not sticky out like it was earlier in the day when I was doing errands. If I wanted to cool d down that bad I'd have taken a shower instead. I did get wet moving it around the yard though.

What a shame that the shoes store was closed, you have time to choose a pair of shoes anyway.

@MarshaMusselman When I talk about shoes I am tempted to check a site where I usually buy shoes, but I should refrain, I have too many.

I've been going to go to the store other days and kept forgetting. Well see if I remember today. That will depend on how long it takes me to do a bid outside of town. I hope to be there after nine and after getting an adjustment which is on the way there. Then I'd have a bit of time before checking out any shoes. I'll go back with my sil another day to buy some as she wants to pay for them for me.

Shoe choices for wedding
@LadyDuck I side tried on about six pair of shoes. They're all on sale and while some look dresser others fit better and are more comfortable. These are the options I picked out. Which ones I buy will be decided by me and my sister in law on Monday.

I finally got there eventually and then a second time to try on more and my sister in law helped me choose which ones to get. She bought them for me which was nice. I found another brand that felt lovely that I've work before and knew it would last a few years at least. I told heri would but those but she refused to let me and bought both pairs.

It's too hot right now to spend the whole day there and if it were cooler if have been washing windows part of the day. It was hired out there than in the house but not by much as we don't have air conditioning.

@amitkokiladitya we don't have air conditioning yet. Not everyone here does because it's not normally quite this hot for so many days in a row.

@MarshaMusselman ohh...I understand. The heat is also a lot here and so we use air conditioning most of the times..and then the high bills are a big problem

The weather in my area has been hot and cloudy with no rain forecast until early next week.

Sounds similar a although we may have to go longer for any rain here and they may need to cancel any fireworks on the fourth.

Sprinklers are fun. When I was a kid we loved to run through them.

Especially in hot weather. But I'm just monitoring it for now.
