July 3 - What I'm Thankful for Today

If you read my last post, you know I have a couple of things to be thankful for. I'm thankful I have the laundry done and put away. I'm thankful I spent quality time with my son and grandson today. I even gave my grandson a ride to work. I'm thankful I didn't lose all my hard work on Vendetta. I have the next scene set up for tomorrow. That one will be very interesting. I'm thankful for ceiling fans. It's so hot that having them on high isn't too cold for me like it usually is. I'm thankful I got most of my fitness goals today. I only missed the four o'clock hour. It's what happens when you're doing something you love and you lose track of time. I did get a workout this morning though between an exercise session before breakfast, the treadmill at my son's, and the stairs. I might be happy with the results but my knees aren't. Okay, I know I haven't been here long, but I need to get off the computer. I've been on the computer since I got home. I need to give my brain a complete rest. This is what I'm thankful for today. I was thankful to come home and find the garden survived our little trek to MO for a few days. We got some showers and everything was A-Okay and very green and growing!

@just4him Yes I was worried about NO rain but we got plenty and even more after we got home. Daily rain until Thursday! I'll be so ready for some sunshine!

@kareng I could send you our sunshine along with the heat and humidity. We only have a slight chance of rain every day. We did get some last night which was nice and needed.

I was thankful for the food delivery I received from Costco. I can't remember which day I ordered all your books on Amazon, but can't wait for them to arrive.

Yes, I do. They're the only two I have here that talk to me. I have another grandson but he works two or three jobs and I rarely see him. As for the others, they're out of state or not talking to me.
