I wanted to share my news with you all I posted a while back about my back with the shooting pain going down my legs well the last three days I was flat on my back in bed with it went by ambulance to er they did a mri and I have a herniated disc on my sciatica nerve might have to have surgery will know more after I go to my doctor and get a mri done. So that was my morning and afternoon. Happy 4th of July all

The what’s wrong is diagnosed herniated disc on my sciatica nerve need to go for a mri then we cover options and surgery then.

Oh no, so sorry to hear the news. I hope there is something they can give you for the pain until such time as a solution can be found. I don't know much about herniated discs, I just hope it's something they can fix. Hang in there!

I hope they give me something for the pain so far nothing. I go Friday for appointment with my doctor I am going to push for something for the pain

@Tina30219 Gosh, I really hope there is some type of pain relief available for you. I know that pain can't be fun to deal with. I hope everything works out in your favor when you visit the doctor on Friday. I have an appointment with my doctor as well. My blood pressure has been acting crazy this week, and it's been stressing me out (which in turns makes my blood pressure go up even higher).

Not sure of other options he just said surgery. I will be keeping you all updated when I know more next step is a mri and then we talk more about options and surgery

Hope you don't need surgery but I know sciatica pain can be excruciating

This is terrible Tina, if the doctor does that surgery it will take the pain away, I'm sure.

Wow! I wish you luck. I know that is very painful. I have Sciatica, arthritis and nerve damage. But the nerve damage is in my arm. My husband had a discingrating disk in his spine too....... pain! Good luck and please keep us posted friend.

@Tina30219 I have needed an MRI done on my foot for 4 or 5 years now and during that time I was on medicade and now on medicare. And neither of them will do it. Medicade woud if my doctor would do therapy on my foot for 6 months then sign papers obligating herself to do surgery on me after the MRI, no matter if I need it or not!

Yeah some but. It will not be fully gone til I have surgery if needed we will know more after mri.

Herniated discs can be very painful or actually not painful at all. Good to hear you are getting it seen to.

Yeah it is painful I can’t wait to get it taken care of so I don’t go through this all the time.
