I Got The Blues

I’m sorry everyone but I am behind on my notifications . I’ve been a little under the weather the last couple of days. I’m sure many of you are too, as the virus spreads and many more people are effected every day. Our hospitals are filling up again and testing supplies are short. It’s enough to make anyone sick. I wrote this little poem I’d like to share with you. The Covid Virus is Smart This Covid Virus is really Smart They wander around daylight or dark They hide on your hands They hide on your clothes No telling where this pesky virus will go When you forget and touch your nose That sneaky covid is ready to go So my friends listen and hear To Doctor Fauci who knows and cares Wear a mask when you go outside Wash your hands til they’re chapped and dry Beware of the covid and fewer will die

The blues certainly are making the rounds. I view them as a secondary virus to the Corona. The poem is a good way to remember.

Yes, many people are sick and tired but we must keep our spirits up the best we can. And look forward to the future.

I pray that god will forgive us from this punishment,i had got punished for what i did,and i lost the hope and ardor to life, but when i was stuck in the despair and darkness, the faith to God is becoming stronger and stronger.I believe God will forgive us and save us.Because God is born to do it,he is the mighty saviour

I’m not religious but we always find the strength to shake ourselves up and do whatever is necessary. It’s natural to get the blues when a calamity like the virus is happening. But we get over it and move on.

I like your poem. This virus is certainly hanging around and people do get weary of always have to be so careful. But it's the only way to beat it.

@RubyHawk The few that aren't following the guidelines really are wrecking it for everyone else.

@JudyEv They certainly are. The virus is passing around like crazy. Some people think they are having their rights taken away if asked to wear a mask. Like they think they have the right to pass around the virus.

I wish everyone would wear a mask and sanitize. If they would we’d soon be rid of the virus. Though to be fair most people I see do wear a mask but I’d like everyone to try to be safe.

That is a very good poem. I like it. (That reminds me, that I must put some effort in to make some masks.)

I agree with Heather, I like the poem and I think it is a good way to remember. I think we all have periods of time where we feel down.

We surely do. We can’t be happy when so many people are suffering. But we shouldn’t wallow in it.

I think we all do to a certain extent. We can’t get out and do the things we usually do. I love reading but I cannot get excited about books lately. Things will be better tomorrow.

I haven’t felt well for a few days and I’ve taken my temporary just in case but it’s normal, no fever. I might have picked up a common little bug.

@RubyHawk Yes, I have read about that sad news. The US is increasing the Covid infected people while Canada has decreased the curve of Covid infected people.
