VW Bus Camping

We went through Pisgah on the way back home to Old 105 where there are lots of camp sites and peeks of beautiful views. I spotted a VW Bus at one of the camp sites. I wasn't able to get a picture because I saw it just as we were passing by it. Conversationally, I decided to keep this VW Bus a few weeks ago when a friend helped me with getting rid of the entertainment center. I don't know why, I just love it. I just noticed it's missing a mirror. Again, conversationally, I chose to photograph it this way so you can see the shelf that still needs a little work. I need to work on my closet more before I worry about the shelf again. Still have things that need donating too.. Gotta make another bag full and make sure I grab everything that I want to donate this time. Do you go camping? What do you think of my little VW bus?

Nice photo. Its a nice bus. VW are great. Hitler made them great. He really did. We go camping, in a tent. We might even go next weekend, if not before. Real.wild camping, the dig a hole to poo wild campimg. It will be great, as long as we remember the trowel and not eat anything before which might desolidify our output.

Yeah, I camp primitively but the place I go to still has a bathroom and shower room. Not that I wouldn't go pee and poo in the wild if necessary.

@JimBo452020 I think primitive really refers to whether there is any electric hook ups. There nothing like that at this state park, but they do have the shower, toilets and an outside sink for washing up.

@ScribbledAdNauseum bathroom and shower room is not primitive. Sounds like luxury. We dive into a cold Loch. No toilet or shower needed

That's a cute little bus. No, I don't like camping...or glamping.

I love being out in nature, which is why I love it.

It makes me think that there is a long time that I have not seen a real VW bus. I did camping when I was a teen with friends. It was fun. And very occasionally in my 20's and 30's. Since I prefer hotels.

I do not see the VW Buses on the roads around here either. I hardly see a VW Beetle either. I like camping, but do not do it nearly often enough.

Thank You. I hope you have a good day too. Camping is fun, but I just love being out in nature. I don't necessarily have to go camping.

I like camping as I love nature. That car? I always see it in movies and i must say it is cool. I usually see it in horror movies.

I do go camping fairly often and I would love to find an old VW Bus to turn into a camper.
