Neighbor Went All Out With Fireworks

Have been wishing for the 4th of July to be over before it started. The fireworks in the neighborhood started last week, until all hours of the night.
You can imagine how the fireworks were last night. Started before dark. Many were joining in with their own fireworks.
Right after dark I noticed the one neighbor that always has tons to show off, was putting on a light show for everyone. It was non-stop for over two hours.
I went out on the front porch and actually snapped some photos. It was as if they were in my front yard. He was two streets over. These did not have a lot of noise, but lots of color. I have to admit it was pretty to see.
For about five minutes I stood there, then I was done. But he continued. And when there was a one minute break in between, the other neighbors would cheer him on for more.
Anyway, wanted to share a few photos I snapped with my phone. Wasn't sure they would turn out. I cannot imagine how much money this man spent on these fireworks.
Finally, around 9:pm we had a thunderstorm. The fireworks were over, for now.

Fireworks
What a waste of money.
He would have been better giving the money to people who cant afford to eat.

@CarolDM I just hope your neighbor doesn't spend the rest of the year complaining about how much debt he has and how he can never seem to get ahead on his bills. lol

@moffittjc I have never met him. Only see the fireworks twice a year. New Year's eve will be the same.

we literally had almost no fireworks. Other than the ones for the two (more than 5 miles away) and the other town near us (10 miles) that we could clearly see but could not hear.

Yes, in my post I was just discussing the great show put on by one of my parent's neighbors. It was impressive.

Fireworks are banned here, due to the fact that it doesn’t take much to catch a fire that quickly can get out of control.
