Do you often use an elevator when you are in the mall or hospital?

Maybe if I have to go to 17th floor or 10th floor and I am on the ground floor, using an elevator is a must. But when you go to the mall and malls are usually four-story structures, escalator or stairs is okay. But sometimes people are too lazy to walk that they still use a lift or an elevator just to get to the floor above them. How about you, do you like to use the stairs or just an elevator?

@fluffy69 I get tired just thinking of climbing stairs. Waiting on an elevator is also tiring.

If I had to walk up a one of two story building, I would take the stairs, if I had to go up more than two floors, I will take the elevator.

Elevator the ones that has a door right? Some called it lif. For me if in mall, I use it, but I prefer escalator. But elevator still okay if have many items bought. In hospital? I'd rather take the stairs. Too many horror stories related to elevator in the hospitals

It is understandable. I have heard scientists around the world all agree it is airborne.

In the Mall I use the escalators, at the hospital the elevator, as we often have to go to the 11th floor.

I generally use the stairs as I'm not a fan of lifts. At work we've only got 3 floors but I use the lift as I'm often taking up food on a trolley or removing rubbish etc so using the stairs isn't practical. If I'm just doing checks on floors I use the stairs.

ehm it depends on lots of things 1. lots stories from 25 to 1 - use elevator. from 3 to 1 - use stairs. 2. people along. with friends -elevator. alone stairs. 3. fire alarm ringing. ALWAYS STAIRS principally, if i am just by myself and no rush, i prefer using the stairs.

@Janet357 yep,, sitting too much isnt good though .... hehe but always be careful about our surrounding, you know in buildings that have many stories, they only have stairs in emergency exit, where is very few people around

It depends where I am, and if I know my way around. I prefer to use stairs (or an escalator) but I'll use the lift (elevator) if the stairways are a bit of a maze in an unfamiliar place.

I use the stairs for the exercise, but if it was six or more flights I would take the elevator. I reluctantly ever use an escalator because of a childhood scare.
