I finally took my shower.

Dear friends, I think that I hadn´t had such a long and happy shower since my teen years. After I grew up I discovered the value of money and my showers were much shorter.
Not so today even if I did not wash my hair. I´ll do it tomorrow. But first I wanted to try the water. I did not want it to get cold while I was shampooing my hair as ir happened the last time.
It was perfect so tomorrow I will begin the day with clean hair too.
The whole thing was very expensive, mainly because the first workers scammed me and made me buy a lot of things that I did not need.
I don´t mind though. I will consider that these were this year´s vacations. Anyway I have to save this year´s week for 2021. It can be done.
Do you start fixing something and in the middle of the work discover that the cost is twice as much? This is what happened to me. But I won´t fret about it. I hadn´t had such a good shower for many a day.

I'm glad your shower's working, but am so sorry you had that experience of being cheated. I have always been a renter, so landlords have had to arrange repairs. My son is my landlord now! But he says they have found some good repair people so far. We had to have the heater fixed last year in both our living rooms.

Now, thanks to Tania, you finally can take a hot shower whenever you want! We had a man cheat us, with the gas log was had installed in our living room. He over-changed us for installation fees and one piece of pipe. Jay is very unhappy over what this guy did!

@kobesbuddy I don´t think I ever had such a nice shower. I discovered that you take showers for granted. Nobody should.

Thats really weird.
I just had the longest shower I have had in years.
I know what you mean about shorter showers costing less but tonight I didnt care.
Sore all over, the long shower really helped.

I wasn´t even that dirty
. But I am used to a shower. And yesterday, with the cold wind coming to the house while the man installed the heater my nose was frozen. So I thawed myself in the shower.

We get several estimates ahead of time; but then our projects are quite large that we are getting done.

i'm not in charge of finding people to fix things and paying for that, so i got nothing to say about that. but i'm glad you had a nice shower
