In Indonesia we like eating fried mashed potato mixed with some spice,which is called "perkedel". It was introduced by the Dutch ajd this term camw from Dutch word, "vrikadel". I love eating it

The perkedel are called frikandellen in Dutch, they also have an annual eating competition of frikandellen.
