Setting the stage

I hope to have the photo of Sonny Jame's bulk on the new floor pop up here. Today friend-contractor puts a patch on the kitchen floor and tacks trim back on the walls and well, finishes up his work. Hubby and I discussed and debated on what will go where now that we have a clean stage in the living room. Two must have items that aren't small and are not decorative: Sally and Leah's dog beds. Both dogs have lain on their beds no matter where they've been put in this minor upheaval. Just like humans, they crave comfort for their joints. On we go. The garbage can is stuffed full of boxes that once held flooring. I have hope that we are mostly through the worst of this, other than paying the bill.

I love the color! Babies do need comfy beds. Enjoy your new floor and give chubby fluffy Sonny James a hug from me.

@sallypup Sunny is very welcome . The floor looks great. We have carpet throughout our apartment and I hate it.

@simone10 Most of my house has rather yucky carpet. If we sell this house, we at least need to have the entry area inviting!

@simone10 Sonny thanks you. This floor is the tidiest floor that I've ever had.

So you don't have a recycle bin either. Bummer. I'm so glad you're almost done with all the upheaval.

It's the same way here @sallypup I have to drive 30 miles to the recycle center I chose, the one in El Paso is so dirty I'll never go back whereas the one in Las Cruces NM is clean and they even recycle glass.

@rebelann The county that I live in is not good at recycling. If I lived in a town I would be able to recycle a few things but not much.

@rebelann That sounds good. I think most of what was recycled in the town north of me is costing too much for the recyclers to deal with it so they're not taking the stuff.

I can sense the cat saying this.... 'hmmm, okay, this floor is big and spacey enough for me to lay down and sleep'
