Short but strong

Just a very short discussion about the rains that fell about 30 minutes ago. It was strong rains, but for a short period of time only.
So strong that the raindrops sounded like hail falling on our rooftops. But so short duration that it finioished in just 10 minutes.
I doubt if the soil got so wet, or maybe it was damp or moist?
I hope rooster-sounding frog will not croak tonight; the rains did not make pools or ponds of rainwater anyway.

Send some rain here. The clouds are only for namesake here.

apparently, our wind here is not so strong to blow the nimbus clouds there to your end

@ridingbet I like the smell of the air after the thunderstorms, but not the wet soil after a short rain.

we don't. in fact, we only wish for the forecast to be fulfilled when the skies get dark. my brother even says "i hope there will be typhoon" to which we disagree here, because we know the effects of typhoons. no electricity, damage to properties, and danger as well.
