Well, I finally caught up (for the moment) with Discussions and Notifications. I wasn't online on Monday and got waaay behind. It's amazing how many Discussions get posted in one day.
July 4 - I've never heard so many fireworks in my life. They continued on until midnight. Not having public displays certainly made a big difference.
July 6 - Had a dentist appointment, went to the bank to get some papers notarized ; and then we picked up some paint samples from Sherwin-Williams.
July 8 - Our little housekeeper is here today; and then this afternoon we have someone coming to give us an estimate on cleaning up the front flower beds and maybe do some landscaping. The whole front is overgrown; and that must be taken care of before the painting of the house can be done.
Speaking of painting the house...someone asked me for a price on getting Leaf Filter gutter protectors installed; and I gave her that. Did someone else ask me for a price on getting the house painted?
I received my $100 Amazon credit for doing the study for the Social Security Administration; and then got a surprise. One of the panels I belong to voted me Member of the Month; and I got another $50 Amazon credit!
Nothing else really going on. Leaf Filter will be put on the house on July 15; and the painting will be done toward the end of August.
Nothing else going on right now. I hope to do some posting today.

I gave up on trying to earn from surveys. Where did you find out about the Social Security study? Is it over? Maybe I can participate?

It was me!! Curious and nosy me wanted to know what the painter's would soak you for on painting your house. Today I hope to wake up before its time for bed again!! I should start putting all the books etc. back in the dresser that is now back in the living room.

$7,000. That includes staining the deck which wraps around the house. We have a ranch house, so that's a lot of wood to paint as well. Lots of deck, lots of house. Not cheap!

@LindaOHio I'm now shivering. Seven thou and just a ranch house. Our West side house is two storied and just over 2 thousand square foot. I bet that would cost a mint to paint. What paint color did you go with?
