Weird Hotel

So many things happened last night that I can't really recall all of it. What I can recall is lying in a hotel room with a locked door and my best friend. We had finally gotten away from him and we were so glad. Who was he? My ex boyfriend who was persistent and too sugary sweet. Neither of us trusted it and both of us were frustrated. At one point we looked over at each other and then onto the floor where a cat we rescued was licking it's paws. We were both glad we were able to rescue that cat. "We can't stay here forever." This was said by my friend, whose gaze was locked on the door. I knew she had been thinking what I had been, which is that we couldn't keep that man out forever. Eventually he'd figure out we were here again, and he'd somehow make his way into the hotel room. "We can't very well leave yet either." There were still animals we needed to rescue, both from the ex boyfriend and from some of his friends. It wouldn't be easy. It would involve going back to the ex's property and somehow sneaking over to where the animals were kept. It involved a lot of running with animals that were bound to be on the defense. "Let's go" --- Then I woke up --- Honestly, this is a little more "creative license" than anything else. I can remember snippets of my dream, and I know part of it involved animals, but I don't really remember that much.. Weird dream is all I can remember.

I often wake from dreams and can't shake them. They seem so real and then you wonder why you would dream something of that nature. I try not to analyze my dreams, only makes me worry all the more.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I had one that I had from my childhood that I had repeat itself for a long time. I believe it started when I was young and had pneumonia with a high fever. But, why I kept having it until I was a teenager was strange.

@ElusiveButterfly Hmm. I don't know, I believe that most dreams are trying to tell us something or remind us of something. I have two dreams that repeat itself atleast once a year and have been doing so since I was a little girl. One is of my uncle on my dad's side and being in a church with him but not feeling very safe. That is one I always hate waking from. The dreams seem to repeat when I am the most stressed over something. Did your dreams repeat during stressful times in life?

I don't have very many bad dreams, but I do have quite a few weird ones. I love analyzing my dreams but I won't analyze any dream that I wake up terrified from.

I don't quite remember, but then, I wouldn't say the dream was about rescuing animals at all. I took a little bit of creative liberties with my re-telling of it.

@ScribbledAdNauseum That was some dream. Have you ever dreamt that one before and found out what happened in the end?

No, this is the first time I have dreamed it. It makes me wonder if my ex boyfriend will bother me more.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Is he bothering you in real life too like in the dream?

@Hannihar Well, yes and no. I was talking to him again for awhile, but under strict understanding that I was not going to date him ever again. He began to bug me about meeting up again and spending time together, but I told him I was not yet comfortable because of the virus. he kept pestering me and I asked him to stop. He never did so I got angry enough and told him just exactly how he was acting and how it wasn't going to work for me. He stopped messaging me, but now he's started again.

If I didn't get into the habit of thinking of my dreams first thing, I wouldn't have any to share either. This one slipped my mind fast as I had other tasks on my mind for the day.

Yes, I am a bit frustrated because I know there was so much more but I can not recall it. I am glad you didn't have a dream.

I really thought while reading that it is real and true. You were dreaming again. I am glad it was only a dream.

I had a horror dream last night. I was in a village, at midnight I came out of the house and saw a very crowded street like there was a parade. but when I look closely it is very surprising. they are all ghosts. when they realized I was watching them. they chased me, of course I immediately ran away and woke up from sleep.
