Cantaloupe The Size Of A Bowling Ball

United States
July 9, 2020 11:33am CST
Well maybe I've exaggerated a bit with the size of our cantaloupe but it's huge. We got it at Sams Club the other day and it's juicy, sweet and delicious. I cut up half the other day and we've been snacking on it so today I cut up the other half and am going to have it for my lunch. I don't really feel like eating much so the cantaloupe should do the trick. Do you like cantaloupe?

I love cantaloupe and watermelon. We have both cut up in our fridge.

@Marilynda1225 Unfortunately the watermelon doesn't have much of a taste and it's not very sweet. It's still good to eat when it's hot as its refreshing, but not what I was expecting.

@simone10 watermelon is so disappointing when it isn't sweet. Usually I buy a whole one and split it with my oldest daughter but you don't know if a melon is sweet until you taste it. When it's sweet it's sooo good

Yes, I like cantaloupe, but it's too early to see them on the shelves now, another two weeks and the will be here.

I love a cantaloupe with the perfect coloring inside that's perfectly sweet and juicy! Hopefully a larger one lasts longer .

It's already lasted awhile and I've enjoyed it for days now. We got it at Sam's Club and it was only $2.99 for such a big melon.

Yes I love any form of melon. Sometimes they can be fairly tasteless - disappointing when that happens.

I was surprised that this one was so sweet. I was expecting it to be rather bland. How have you been Janet?

@Marilynda1225 I love blueberries and strawberries the best. Then cherries, peaches and grapes. Once in a blue moon a nectarine, orange, and banana. That's about it for me. Not a fan of melons or grapefruit.

I have never liked cantaloupe, not even watermelon or honey dew. You should have my share.

We mostly call them rockmelon here but they're delicious. Some can be very big.

Yes I do love cantaloupe and also water melon. Lately I haven't found any that were ripe enough though.
