Cloudy Sunset Front Porch Yesterday

Rain and clouds lately. Not much of a sunset to see. Snapped this photo on my front porch at sunset yesterday. Lots of clouds. Another hot day today. Typical July weather. Hope to get rain later. Going now to give birds fresh water. Trying to keep them happy.

We've been getting lots of clouds, lots of rain....and lots of heat. And it's only going to get worse in August!

@CarolDM Today was actually a rain-free day for us. Which meant the temperature soared! I think our heat index was up to 105! But on the positive side, there was a nice breeze today.

Nice shot. I can't see the sunsets because of a neighbors high fence. I top off the two pots of water I have outside for the birds we get around here.

I just wish I could afford one of those fancy bird baths where it has a fountain in the middle for them to play in @CarolDM With the heat here they'd probably love to languish in water for a little while.

Thanks and I can’t see the sunrise due to roof tops of houses. Frustrating. But what are you gonna do right! Glad you give water to the birds. They appreciate you.

@rebelann Me too but it would be a full time job keeping it clean. Plus the bigger the bath the bigger the birds. Some I don't want in the yard.

That's a dramatic photo. My world is keeping to the moderate side for July. Often we expect triple digits temps but this year mostly its the 80s. No I am not griping.

Mighty fine! Our sunset wasn’t all that great (although I’ve never seen a bad one!) yesterday, but oh, Tuesday’s was fabulous!!!!!

@CarolDM It's starting to drizzle here now and the wind is kicking up. Hubs just left to get gas for the generator if we need it - with mask and gloves. I hope you get any rain you need to cool off.
