Hello mylotters. It is a pretty humid day here today. And the weather is not the only bad part. We are going to have lockdown like restrictions imposed again in few wards (regions) . I felt like making papad tonight at dinner. It is a wafery round item made of lentils which can be baked or fried and are very popular across the country. I don't know if it has any derivative in other countries or has any other names. It is eaten with a chutney(sauce) in general, but can be eaten as a finger food too. What is your favourite finger food? Below is the Wikipedia link if you want to know more about it

I'm curious. I check it. We don't have that kind of bread.

Well, it is not a bread technically. It looks much like Tortillas.

I bought them dried in a specialty shop in Monte Carlo and fried them at home, they are good.

I've eaten papadums before but didn't know of them as papads. I hope they turn out well for you.

That's great. Some languages here call it papadum, and some call it simply papad.

They are the same. The first line in the Wikipedia article says that.
