Disney Plus Good way to shut out the world!!

I basically got Disney Plus for one month at $6.99 to see the filmed on-stage production of "Hamilton" though I saw the touring company when it was here and wasn't 'thrilled' by it. The film didn't increase my enthusiasm but the touring company is scheduled to come back in the 2020-2021 season so it will have one more chance if the theatres are back in business! In addition, I watched "Bambi" and was really glad I did because I felt like a 6-year-old again. Having experienced a good time with that I decided to try a few more from "Dumbo", which was very disappointing, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" and sang along with the dwarfs about whistling while they worked but right after Bambi "The Lady and the Tramp" was the second big hit. The scene of the Lady and the Tramp eating spaghetti will always rate high in love scenes on the movie screen! Just hearing Peggy Lee's singing is a treat. I think that's it for Disney Plus and I back to Netflix and Prime Video but Bambi and The Lady and the Tramp were definitely worth $6.99.

We got it the other day too just to watch Hamilton - I absolutely loved it. Considering we would probably not be able to go to see any musical in a theater for a long time . . . we'll take it for the mere 7 bucks. Love the Disney classics, though we haven't watched them on Disney Plus yet . . . we've gotten into the Star Wars series - The Mandalorian.

@CarolDM They were made in a different time, a different era and I guess watching them brings back that feeling!

I think I've told you this before, but Lady and the Tramp has been my favorite since I was a child and I saw it for the first time in the movie theater.

Not yet available in the Philippines but it's coming soon to Southeast Asia which includes Philippines. This is certain because they just published job openings for Singapore, which means that Disney Plus will be based in Singapore and will be made available to the whole of Southeast Asia very soon.

I am most fond of Walt Disney movies titled Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I was very curious how a beautiful girl could live normally with seven dwarves who were all grown men in one house. What could have happened?

I am to cheap to get any of the extra channels. We have the basic cable for $44 a month.

And I pay half that for Netflix, Amazon Pride for each month plus a one time payout for an indoor antenna---that's why so many people have cut out cable!!

I cried when I watched Bambi as a kid and I still do every time that I watch that movie. "The Lady and the Tramp" is also great, I never liked Dumbo e lot.

@GreatMartin It was an emotional movie, the old Disney movies were so much better.
