We were supposed to bring Danie to the vet on June 24th because she was due to give birth on the 26th according to the vet. She offered her services since she knew how worried I was about not knowing how to assist Danie during her labor.
24th came, I decided not to bring Danie to her on that day as I don't see any symptoms that she will give birth soon. Even though I have set my mind to bring her to the vet, I still prepared a whelping box for her.
26th, we decided to bring her there but no signs of her in labor soon. As soon as we got to the vet, Danie didn't want to stay at all. She's very clingy to me and get anxious if she doesn't see me. So the vet told us that she might get stressed, so it's best to bring her home and to call her when she's showing signs of labor. Vet is on call.
27th at 3am, Danie suddenly became restless next to me and started going to the toilet several times. I wasn't able to sleep then. First stage of labor started. She was also nesting in her whelping box. Noon time, Danie was already in labor pain. She stayed on my lap, couldn't move anymore and was trying to get comfort from me.
Before 1pm, Danie gave birth. First puppy came out. A few minutes later, second one was coming. And before 2pm, the third one was already out. She had a quick and fast delivery.

They're even cuter now. The first two that came out have opened their eyes yesterday.

Thanks Carol. Danie looked exhausted there but I was glad that she was able to eat and drink water immediately and even tried to play with my nephew that evening.

@CarolDM Indeed. I'm glad they're all healthy. The puppies are almost two weeks now and they've grown quite a lot.

That is so sweet and even can see happiness of mother on her face. They are very adorable and welcome to them in this beautiful world.

Thanks Julia! It has been quite awhile. They're almost 2 weeks old now and yesterday on their twelfth day, the first one to come out opened her beautiful eyes, followed by the second one. The third one, I will check today if she has opened her eyes.

@LadyDuck Oh yes I can. I only started relaxing when the puppies actually reached their 2nd week. But prior too that I was really on my toes checking on Danie and the puppies all time. And worrying when I hear them crying.

Yes it did and they're all healthy. I've been really worried for Danie the whole time she was pregnant. I was just being paranoid. And it actually continued until the puppies reached their first week. Now they're two weeks old and I am more confident and not worried anymore.
They're healthy.

Thank you Valerie. Danie has been a really great, caring, and responsible mom. She makes sure her puppies are being fed well and she cleans them well too.
