What if there was no internet

This was just a random thought. This virus pushed everything online..
For keeping contact with our relatives and friends we need internet. For ordering food supplies without stepping out we need internet. For paying bills without stepping out we need internet. For our entertainment purposes we need internet. For reading and studying we need internet.....for this and that we need internet...
What if this had happened in an era when there was no internet. Wouldn't have life come to a complete standstill?

If we make habit of anything then its hard to live without them. Most of people have habit of internet and because its our need too so we use it daily almost everyday. In this pandemic we also learn to live without it. In past we don't didn't have internet and still we lived that time. Yes fist 2-3 days maybe we panic but later its OK.

That is a good question, that I don't want to ever have to learn how to deal with lol. However, there was a time before the internet and people survived that.
