Today is not a good day for NJ restaurants

New Jersey is still pretty locked down during this COVID-19 pandemic. Restaurants have always been allowed to do take-out and delivery but it wasn't until a couple of weeks ago that they were allowed to open up for outdoor dining. Most establishments embraced that and their business has significantly increased. People are tired of being stuck at home.
Anyway today NJ is being battered by some kind of tropical storm/disturbance/whatever. There is no possibility for outdoor dining as the strong winds are blowing the rain sideways. So today is one big step backwards for them. . . and on a Friday which is a big day for NJ restaurants in general and especially in the summer.
I hope that this blows through tonight so they can resume outdoor dining tomorrow.

Hope that storm moves through quickly. I've been watching it on the radar. We have thunderstorms today; but we needed the rain.

I watched the national weather report, storms are hitting Michigan too. The weather is kicking up in many areas!
