Wow! Just Got the Hospital Bill

I would feel better paying it if the nurse had given me a different reply when I asked if I might get a small pillow to put under my back after being on what felt like a board for 2 hours. She said, "This isn't Holiday Inn." It if had not been all hooked up with an iv I would have walked out then and probably should have.

Yes and I bet Holiday Day inn would have brought a pillow. I paid over $6,000 and wasn't even there 3 hours and didn't get the extra little pillow for my back.

Really. Because I was in pain and a little compassion and a pillow may have helped. I think it should be mention and corrected.

@Writingghost I'd be pissed. I need extra pillows because of a spinal issue. I'd have to call another nurse...or her supervisor.

When I filled out my survey I mentioned this and stated that the Holiday Day Inn, according to the nurse, was more concerned about my pain and comfort than the hospital was. I just asking for a small pillow!"
