Fresh dates I missing now

Hi friends, In reading some articles this dates catch my eyes a lot. Like those dates available only in villages, in my childhood I ate plenty of them. It having little bit soar with sweet, so I loved this fruit a lot. But now I living in city, so it's not available hear, only normal dates available hear. But I don't like it. So tokens very rarely those. Can I know any one taste this fresh dates in before??

Though not so regularly but we do find them sometimes in season. It is yummy. I like dried dates too.

@Lavanya15 I think it comes around this time only. We have a fruit vendor who puts his cart around the corner of our apartment. He keeps all such fruits like fresh dates, litchis, fresh fig etc. But due to this corona crisis we are not stepping out of our complex and I guess he too might not be there as our area is a containment zone.

Your fresh dates are very big and I am sure they are very sweet. My husband's hometown also has date trees but the dates are not as big as yours. I seldom eat fresh dates. Usually here we use dates to make the soup or desserts.

These are fresh untreated date fruits. they are available in plenty all over. It is available in the shop next to me.

I have never tasted fresh dates, in our country they are usually sold as sweets. It's too sweet in my opinion. and usually a lot of dates are consumed when the fasting month of Ramadan arrives.

We don't have dates here but dried dates in the supermarkets. I don't like them as I have tasted some dried ones.

I have eaten black dates and the Normal ones which is in brown colour. But I have not tasted this red coloured ones.
