I've never cancelled an order with ebay before

But I did just now. I guess I should have done more research before I jumped the gun. I found more negative benefits than positive to something I had just ordered, so had to cancel it within minutes of placing the order. I hate that my money is tied up until after the seller confirms the cancellation. Oh well, it was my fault anyway. Have you ever had to cancel an order before it could be shipped?

@ScribbledAdNauseum just on pet food but no this one just something sitting in our cart and the kids different something it was before we have several passwords for amazon and the kids bought. Once or twice I opened the cart and thought I backed out but didn’t and hit buy. Then I was like crap had to cancel right way which was fine.

@ShyBear88 Yeah. I use amazon wishlist if I plan to buy something later. I don't like websites that keep whatever you have in your cart there because I can really be a distracted buyer.

I'm just waiting for the bank to give me back the money now. The seller was quick to honor the cancellation.

@Marilynda1225 Yes, I was very happy when they did that. I'll do more research before shopping next time.

Well, the money hasn't left my account yet, but that's because I went through paypal first. I'm hoping the seller will get online tomorrow and accept the cancellation since I just made the order.

I go through periods of time where I order online more than usual. Usually around holidays or my birthday. Otherwise, I do not order online much either.

no I never did that. I always look at the reviews thoroughly before ordering anything.

This wasn't a review issue for me. It was a "this vitamin is going to do the opposite of what I want' type of issue.

Yes it is. I am looking for something to help me with my hormones. I know I have too much estrogen in the body. I also need to take care to eat healthier.

Thankfully I haven’t had a lot of trouble with eBay, my brother ordered my IPad Pro from them, refurbished but it works great!

That is so good! I ordered a tablet from ebay once (many years ago) and it arrived as listed, but I shouldn't have purchased it because it was several gen's outdated and was so slow.

@ScribbledAdNauseum This is an iPhone pro, it’s probably a couple of generations outdated, but I couldn’t see paying over a thousand for a new model, this one is by no means slow though,

I never cancelled an order because I view it carefully before I order it

I viewed this one carefully, but I didn't research the item carefully.

Yes, sometimes I added an item into my cart just because of the pretty pictures. I cancelled some of the items after more carefully reading their descriptions.

Alright, but I'm referring to cancelling AFTER you've placed the order.
