Sleep is needed by all living things, be it us as humans, or animals, we all need sleep. Sleep is needed to replenish our lost energy when doing daily activities. Sleep is also needed to avoid diseases such as heart attack. Too much working and lack of sleep would cause one to always feel tired, sleeping disorder and others.
Some expert says that a good sleep takes about six to eight hours every day. Some also said that five to six hours is considerable. Others might want to sleep more; probably eight to ten hours. One of my friend's theory to get rid of dark circles around the eye - Sleep for 14 hours!

For me it depends on how stressed or tired I am. I dont wake up to an alarm clock. I wake up naturally when my body is fully rested.
