Well, here I am

Before I get too far into a post I will say that the medical part went well to all appearances. We hope it stays that way. Actually most everything went better than expected. I was told yesterday that I would need to wait in my car, no one allowed inside. I put a lot of things in to entertain me, and off we went. We arrived almost thirty minutes before he needed to check in. That was a good thing. I went and parked the car. Then I got a phone call saying I could come sit in the surgery waiting room. The nice thing is that there are escorts to help you get to your destination if you want them. Believe me, I did. I planted my happy little self near the rest room, as that is sometimes a concern for me and it certainly was if I was going to sit in the car. Eventually they called me back to the discharge area. Fifteen minutes before the procedure had been scheduled. They had gotten ahead, Bob was done and he even was fully clothed. Woo hoo!! The person who gave Bob a wheel chair ride down explained. I guess she is in charge of that waiting room. If there are not too many people and they can keep social distance they really prefer to have one person waiting for the patients. We were early, they were ahead of schedule, there was plenty of room for me. We came home, had sandwiches for lunch. Bob is napping. I likely will too. So, here I am after all, visiting a bit with you guys.
