I just saw the oddest sight

I talked on here about the fact they are doing construction next door. I walked over there, and they have the foundation laid out when I went over there I was really suprised to see a mailbox standing up. The mailbox wasn't even on the end of the driveway it was in the middle of the site. I was like what the heck? Curiosity got the better of me, though and even though I am not one to look in other people's mailboxes (perish the thought) I looked in it, and there were a bunch of building plans, construction diagrams and so forth. Now, why would they put them in there? If they are coming back why not just leave them in their work or construction>

That seems very strange, doesn't it? Maybe they were left there for the next group of workers or whatever.

I guess so but why go to all the trouble of building a mailbox when they could have used the cab of the vehicle there were two there.

@JudyEv Nah, they would probably tell me to stay off the site.

Well, I don't expect them to leave it there, but 30 bucks for a mailbox..which they didn't need..seems like a waste.

I wonder if anyone will just take the mailbox to replace it with their old ones.

This is weird, why not to keep those building plans and other stuff in the cab of their vehicle?

That is what I thought, unless someone like inspectors were requiring them to do that, It just seemed a waste of time and money.

Those plans would be so easy to steal or damage. That's actually quite a dumb thing to do, leaving them in there like that.

AM not sure. why anyone would want to steal or damage them. They aren't any good to anybody else. It just struck me as very odd.

That is an odd way for construction paperwork to be placed in your neighborhood,

@snowy22315 I have never seen that in any post office box in my neighborhood. Just letters that do not belong to me.

Maybe they were required to have something like that for the building inspectors.

That is odd, oh well we'll never figure people out so there's no point in trying.
